The Al-Makhbateen Village Development Project is a comprehensive initiative aimed at establishing a fully-equipped community village in Puttalam, Sri Lanka. This vital project, generously funded by a benevolent philanthropist, seeks to provide essential infrastructure and improve the quality of life for residents.
This project aims to build a sustainable and empowered community by providing 20 safe homes, a two-classroom school, and a dedicated health center. It ensures reliable water access through an artesian well with an 8,000-liter tank. A sewing center will promote vocational skills and economic growth. A children’s garden will support child development and recreation. Internal roads and pathways will enhance connectivity throughout the village.
