After the flood we had nothing left — not a mat, not a pot. The Human Care team came the same week, and they came back again when it was time to fix the roof. They did not disappear after the photographs.
I received a sewing machine and three months of training. Today I stitch uniforms for two schools and my daughter is back in school with me paying the fees myself.
We fund several charities. HCF is one of the few that sends a proper field report with names, dates and costs. That transparency is why we keep giving.
